Recently I thought about a proposal I wrote for a company right out of college.
It looked at the organization and its people as a creative and interconnected profit-sharing system. In today’s parlance, I would call my proposal an “intentional ecosystem.“
Not an ecosystem as in the PowerPoint cliché but a group of people and resources intentionally organized and managed around a common purpose, values and results.
The business was my father's. He saw my proposal as a disruption of the status quo. He was not wrong.
Nature has no status quo. It is always changing. That is how it adapts, and evolves.
